Can I use TURBOTAX deLUXE - I am trader with 300 trades/year? Software does not allow download 1099, requires upgrade to PRIME. In 2015-16 I used deLUXE - no problems.

You can use the Downloaded Deluxe version instead of the Online Premier ...

I do not like this. Online and downloaded versions should have IDENTICAL features and not playing tricks with customers. DELUXE should be DELUXE.

Sorry but they don't have the same features and they never have had the same features .... they tried making them the same but got a big push back from the downloaded users a couple of years ago so that is how it stands. The downloaded version is a superior product at a lower cost so take advantage of this opportunity.

You will not be able to use the TurboTax Deluxe online product to report trades. The next higher product, Premier, covers stocks, bonds, ESPPs, and other investment income and automatically imports investment income including cost basis.
