I have a scheduled call with an expert and they are currently 17 minutes late?  What is the call window for a booked appointment?

Scheduled Expert Call

If your TurboTax expert is over 17 minutes late, you can try the steps listed below. 

 

Some things you can do are:

  • After 5 minutes, TurboTax should prompt you to reschedule. Check your screen for any prompts to wait or reschedule
  • Try logging completely out of your TurboTax account and logging back in to refresh your connection.
  • Also try clearing your cache and cookies; Click here for How to clear your cache. Click here for How do I delete cookies?
  • Look at the notification icon (bell) at the top of your TurboTax screen for any messages from your expert.
  • If you have waited over 15–20 minutes, you can contact TurboTax Customer Support using this link: Turbo Tax Customer Support to report the missed appointment and get assistance. 
  • If your expert misses the appointment entirely, you can reschedule via the "Live Help" or "Tax Home" section of your account
