schedule D, 1099-OID, "Box 1, Box 2, Box 8 or Box 11 should have a value" but entering one gives the same complaint

In the Federal Review, TT complains that Schedule D 1099-OID box 1, Box 2, Box 8 or Box 11 should have a value".  If I enter the value, it comes back with the same complaint and the value I entered cleared out.  I am assuming this is the value reported on my OID info for DADavidson, the first entry, which is "Original issue discount for 2018".  This info was downloaded from DAD but for some reason not entered?  But then why is it complaining if it doesn't know about it?

I finally got past this by going to the OID form (can't remember how I got there) and entering ALL of the numbers related to the OID.

there is no such thing as schedule D 1099-OID.   what you refer to as schedule D is probably the consolidated reporting form that brokerages issue.    Certain OID Is in standardized reporting for the IRS other OID reporting is not and brokerages use a variety of means to report it to you.  if it is not in standardized format, TT won't import it.    taxable OID is reported as interest income on schedule B.  so type 1099-int into search box and enter the name of the brokerage.   enter the OID on line 1.  tax exempt oid gets entered on line 8
