Sales Tax determination

When Turbo Tax compared the State and Local Taxes amount with the Sales Tax Deduction that was derived by Turbo Tax, I clicked on the "try sales tax deduction anyway" to see if adding the sales tax on a new car would make this a better choice.  It didn't, so I tried to go back and use the State and Local Taxes amount instead.  There is no way to do this!  I clicked on "continue" instead of hitting the button to "try sales tax deduction anyway" - - but it is not pulling in the State and Local Taxes amount.  How do I fix this?

In TurboTax Online, when you ask to try sales tax deduction anyway, at the final screen of that series TurboTax tells you which method was chosen because it provided the higher deduction, then provides a radio button labeled "Change your deduction" if you want to go back to the other method. See screenshot below:

If both the sales tax method and the state and local tax method produce a result over $10,000, it won't make a difference on your Federal return, as these deductions are capped at $10,000 under current law.
