when printing out the return form 8949 it is saying sale of main home when it was a vacation home with a different address. Can this be changed and if so how? I also took the money from the sale of the second home and bought another second home. does it matter?

Pretty sure that when you started on the Sale of Your Home, Turbo Tax asks if it was your Main Home. I would go back to the beginning of that section and your answer will be there.
no, it doesn't matter that you bought another home. there is no home sale exclusion available for a non-principal residence and there is no longer a tax rule that allows rolling over the gin from one residence to another.
tried that did not change still says main home.
thank you
