Sale of Rental Property

We lived in a home for 10 years and then converted it to a rental property for the next 6 years (2018 - 2023). We sold the home 2024.

Is there a version of turbo tax that can calculate the tax when there is both qualified and nonqualified use of the property?  Premier asks about 100% business use and when we say no, is giving us a message that it can't do this, so we can't move forward in that edition.

Thank you,

Marianne

Sale of Rental Property

Your house was a rental for 6 years, it is not mixed use at that point. To qualify for any exclusion from sale of main home, you must have lived there 2 of the last 5 years and you didn't. Sell the house in the rental property section and do not mark mixed use.
