I have three lots of vested RSU 100,50,50 in 2020, the vested 6/10/20, 9/10/20 and 12/10/20, I sold the first lot of 100 on 8/10/2020. I entered all three lots to match what was report on my W2, but TT is give me a error, " Form 1099-B Worksheet ( Company XYZ) -- Capital gn (ls) adjustments/other info (100 sh XYZ) -- Employer Stock Worksheet: Line 25 Column (c) can not be later than the date sold". Then it list the last two vested dates 9/10/20, 12/10/20, but I did not sell them in 2020, but in 2021. How can I fix this issue, as TT is not letting me e-file this return.

If you sold shares in 2021, you should not be reporting those investment sales in 2020. The income associated with the value of those shares when they vested should be reported on your W-2 form. All you need to do is enter your W-2 form in TurboTax to account for that income.
So, you should report the 100 shares sold in October of 2020 and the cost of those shares, which will be the same or close to the sale price, since the purchase amount is what was reported for them on your W-2 form. The income from the vesting is reported through your W-2 entry.
I am having similar issues right now (4/18/22) with my RSU vesting date. I am getting an error that on the 1099B line 25 column C the vesting date can't be later than the date sold. Since the vesting and sale for taxes occurred on the same date 1/15/21, I changed the sale date to 1/19/21 (1/18 was a holiday) and it still shows the error. It is as though there is a glitch in the program since I am not longer in conflict (vesting 1/15, sale 1/19). Can and how do I fix this? if not, can I just ignore the error and e-file anyways?
