Try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file again.
NO!
I refiled usin g zer and was rejected. AGI for 2020.
I filed 2020 with Turbotax, but filed by mail and not Direct Deposit.
I gave up on 2021 and mailed my return.
Very Frustrating when you cnnot talk to an individual from Turbotqax to help with problem/
I have used Turbotax the last 6 years, this may have been my last.
I'm having the same problem. Any other ideas?
Have you tried entering 0 for the AGI? If this doesn't work, you may have to file your return by mailing it in. Please see this Help Article for more information.
Did you receive unemployment in 2020? If so subtract that amount from AGI
Help file says:
Returns can't be e-filed if they:
Contain overrides
Have no taxable income
That's absurd - have filed with TT a number of years with no taxable income.
Are you experiencing a specific issue as it relates to this topic? is your e-file being rejected due to AGI reasons? If so, please provide more details so that we may appropriately assist
I don't know what else to say.
The AGI that we reported last year matches exactly.
That kinda makes this whole problem weird.
We've tried resubmitting 3 times with no luck. Just strange.

There is a possibility that the IRS does not have your 2020 AGI in their database.
Try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.
I have checked the info the IRS has for last year's tax return. They have the correct amount. I believe this is a TurboTax problem not an IRS problem.

The $0 AGI last year "trick" worked to get the return filed but how in hell is it possible that the IRS doesn't have a clue as to what I made last year and, I assume, how much I paid them.
The IRS seems to be totally dysfunctional.
