Why does TT say I needed to take a RMD, when CARES suspended RMD for this year?

Do I just check "was not required to take an RMD for 2020"?

Yes, you can check 'was not required to take an RMD for 2020".  CARES waived the requirement on a one-time basis for 2020 RMD.

You can indicate that no RMD was required, even though you took RMD as it was part of your regular/normal distributions.
