Why is it, that if I try to request a refund OR look-up an order so I can complete the process, then enter the info from an Order Confirmation email, I am told "The order was not found"? Clearly, if I enter all of the data exactly as the email shows & my bank account has been charged, it should be possible for the system to locate my order...
It appears the others from previous years complaining about this are correct, that you CANNOT succeed with getting a refund thru the links provided(if at all, after a certain point). But, at the very least, you should be able to look-up and confirm an order, if you've already been charged. It makes it look like this is purposely done, so that Intuit can avoid issuing refunds for ANY reason. But, can convince those looking into it, that they allow people to receive refunds, by at least some means(this appears doubtful)...
That the "refund" system is essentially useless/pointless due to not being able to find orders, even when the data is PERFECTLY entered, is ridiculous. It would be better just to have a "No Refunds" notice once you enter a certain point. As, that is PRECISELY what occurs, but they give the impression it's otherwise...
PLEASE, at least fix the system so that either orders can be found & refunds can ACTUALLY be allowed. Or, alert users when they've reached the point that no refunds will be issued, even if the service will not allow you to e-file. Which, is how I found out about this problem with trying to get a refund...
