I have NEVER had a Form 1095A, so I don't know why it suddenly appeared on my 2024 return. Despite attempting every which way to delete the form, there are NO delete buttons or trash cans to remove it, neither on the tools/delete forms list nor on the form itself. I don't want to, and shouldn't have to, do a "workaround." My return shouldn't have lies in it (stating I received a form when I didn't). If I made a mistake somewhere in the questions that are forcing this issue, I sure would like to know where it is so I can rectify it.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
First, close TurboTax, clear your Cache and Cookies and return to Deductions & Credits. Scroll down to Medical, click the down arrow, and Revisit the 1095-A interview. Be sure you indicate No, you did not have a 1095-A.
Or, in the left-side menu, click on Tools > Tax Tools, then choose Delete A Form from the pop-up menu. A list of forms in your return will be displayed, so you can scroll down to Form 1095-A and delete it.
