Removal of 40 dollar processing fee before I pay it

Turbotax charges a $40 dollar processing fee if you pay for Turbotax services out of your refund.

I have not paid for the service yet.

I have chosen the credit card option. (I initially chose the Refund option, but the 40 dollar fee doesn't show up until you OK the transaction later.  It's hidden in the extra reading.)

But before I paid for anything, I switched to the credit card option.  Now that I have chosen the credit card option, the 40 dollar fee should go away.  but it is NOT going away.

How do you make it go away?

Sounds like you changed it right.  Did you go back through the File tab?  Are you using the Online version or the Desktop program?make sure you didn't also pick Audit Defense or another extra service.
