Why does my taxes keep getting rejected for my agi? You did my taxes last year and that is the number I keep putting down. I’ve tried 0 just like you suggested still rejected. I’ve never had a problem before is this so u can get more money out of us?

Check with the IRS to make sure that the copy of your return is the same as what they have in their records. To do this, you can order a free (digitally transmitted) copy of your tax return transcript.

This can happen if the IRS has a different AGI listed in their records than you show on your return. Occasionally the IRS will update your return on their side, which can cause the AGI to be different than what you have.

You can request a tax transcript from the IRS so you can see what is list. To do so click here: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
