We filed a 2019 amended return in April 2019. We have not yet received our refund for 2019. Do not file paper unless you owe tax!!
This reply is incorrect. How do I give it a thumbs down?
It has been repeated many times on this thread
WRONG!!
Tell him to put a 0 in AGI
TT status SNAFU
tt status SNAFU
Waste of time, enter 0 in agi
Thanks for what. Try reading the solutions given by TT users in this thread. Enter 0 in agi
TT specialist not needed. TT users have the answers. TT specialist cannot even bother to read and repeat the correct answer.
I had the same issue.
We put "0" in for the spouse AGI and it was accepted.
We used a 0 too and it was accepted. I am guessing that this issue is with the IRS. I suspect they have not yet loaded the 2020 return's AGI into the file where it can be used to verify the 2021 returns. My guess.
The IRS is way behind! We filed an amended return for 2019 in April 2019 and we still have not received our refund for that year after almost 2 years.
Cheers, Larry
After a number of rejects with code IND-032-04 and having gotten the correct (same as had been submitted) AGI from the IRS site, I followed the suggestion of others in this thread and submitted with 0 for AGI. Note that we owed taxes last year and took advantage of the extended date to send in our payment. Just got notified that the e-file was accepted. TT should update their instructions to state, if you have rejected multiple times and are sure the AGI is correct, try submitting with $0 for an AGI.
Adding insult to injury, after resubmitting with $0 AND getting notified by TT that my return was accepted, the program (windows version) after reopening return and checking status STILL reports return as rejected. I just checked the IRS site for where is my return and IRS reports return as received.
Another reason I will likely find a different program for next year.

Once your return is accepted by the IRS, they will have the most up-to-date information for you. TurboTax helps you prepare your return and then we pass it on to the IRS.
Sign into your online TurboTax account, then, go to Tax Home. You can check your e-file status here. Once that return is accepted, it's in the hands of the IRS and any further updates will come from their website. If it's been accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site.
Why should I have to go online into my account to get a correct status? If I open the program on my computer, push the "CHECK E-FILE STATUS" button, why doesn't the program return the correct status? TT knows the status because I was sent an e-mail from TT telling me that my return was accepted. How hard is it to report what TT is already known? Now my computer based copy of my return is still reporting that it can help me resubmit my return. You advertise based on how accurate your work is, this does NOT inspire confidence in your product.
