Refund on deluxe won't let me track my money being returned

Requested a refund for turbo deluxe as the were unable to e-file, now the tracking number they gave me says its not valid. It was already hard enough to try and get my money back, now I don't even know if I'll get it or if my request went through. This feels extremely predatory, and leaves me wondering how many people have had money taken and weren't even able to do their taxes.
