Received 1099g for $4000 for unemployment compensation. Taxes were already taken out of this money. Did not have any Health Insurance. Do I even need to file?

If that is your only income, and no one claims you as their dependent, you don't have to file.  However, you may want to file, to get your withholdings back.

If you are a dependent on someone else's return, you must file, as the IRS requires dependents to file if their unearned income is more than $1,050 for the 2015 tax year.
