I uninstalled the McAfee Security Plus and I was able to import our information! (I also had TT website and the financial institution website on my laptop as someone had suggested.)
To update the status: I got an official communication from Turbotax today that they fixed the reCAPTCHA issue and all I need to do is to open Turbotax Desktop which will update itself to address this. I made sure I do not update any Windows, do not turn off any security measures on my router, do not sign in to any websites etc. Basically, I had turned off my laptop on Saturday when this issue was present, and I just turned it on today after Turbotax email without touching any other settings or apps, and I went straight to TT Desktop. BTW, my Windows auto-update is turned off. And yes, confirmed that reCAPTCHA worked just fine with exact same Windows configuration that was failing on Saturday. Finally, Turbotax did fix this issue. Thank you everyone for your inputs, it's good that some of you were able to overcome this by workarounds, it shouldn't be the case if Turbotax didn't have this bug in the first place. Hope all this is in the past now and we should be able to go ahead with our taxes.
