If you've already paid your taxes due directly to the IRS, how will Turbotax know not to deduct the taxes due from your bank account when you file your return?

TurboTax does not ever collect taxes for the IRS or any state - so you have nothing to worry about.   @trollspinky - Just mark the ''Pay by check'' method when you file - then don't send a check!
