wrong filing

i accifentally file my 2019 return to a 2018 turbo tax and it was accepted.what should i do? it was accepted as a 2018 return when in fact that return is 2019.

Please explain exactly what you did. --- or what you think you did.. You could only have prepared or filed a 2018 return using 2018 desktop software. A 2018 return would be impossible to e-file.

Did you put all of your 2019 income information into 2018 software and then print, sign and mail it? That is the only way you could have filed it.

The current online software can only be used for a 2019 return.
