Your 2019 return from last year?  When did you file it?  The IRS is still processing 2019 returns.

Did you efile?  Was it Accepted?  Maybe you didn't finish filing it or it Rejected.  When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  what does it say?

Then when you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepte.d or Rejected your efile.  Check back though your emails if you have them.

e-filing for 2019 closed on 10/15/20. so if you e-filed successfully, you would have gotten an acceptance e-mail within a few days of submission. however, the e-mail could have ended up in your spam folder. no such e-mail leaves in doubt whether you successfully e-filed.  your best option is to go to the IRS website and see if they have a transcript of your 2019 return (tax return transcript).   

if you were due a refund I don't think the IRS refund link works when your checking on prior years in this case you may want to see your account transcript.

I would have suggested calling but many have reported being unable to get through to the IRS to speak to an agent as of this date 3/25/2021
