Unemployment compensation is taxable income reported on a federal tax return and on several state tax returns. Congress has not passed any legislation excluding any amount of unemployment compensation on a 2021 tax return.
Unfortunately IRS has not announced that there will be an exclusion of any unemployment income for 2021 so far. Here are two useful links:
