Will this tax return come in my name or my deceased sons name? Can it be deposited into my account directly?

If a refund is due from your son's tax return, you should complete a Form 1310, Statement of Person Claiming Refund Due a Deceased Taxpayer, to file with the tax return.

 You should request a paper check for the refund. The bank could reject a direct deposit to an account that is not in the deceased taxpayer's name.
