Can you expand on your question?   If you have a K-1 with information in the Other Information boxes, the issuer should have given you a statement with the amounts related to 199A, or qualified business income (QBI).     TurboTax needs the details to properly calculate the QBI.   Contact the K-1 issuer if the detailed statement was not provided.

When you enter box 20 (or Box 17 if an S-corp) information, continue through the screens, you will come to other screens where you have to enter the breakdown.   There is more than 1 additional screen.

  • We see you have Section 199A income
  • We need some information about your 199A
  • Adjustments of 199A amounts

If you are not getting these screens, you have answered something that is disqualifying you for the deduction, so review all of your K-1 entries in that section.     @sustainnovators
