What do I need to know about the coronavirus stimulus package?
The IRS has created a Get My Payment portal to track the progress of these payments for taxpayers. It is expected to be available beginning April 17, 2020.
I apologize if this has been asked- If I have filed for 2019 but NOT 2018 - Do you know if I would still receive an EIP? The IRS site seems to be overloaded. Thanks for your time!
I'm wondering the same thing. I liked for 2019 but not 2018 and I went through TurboTax registration and TurboTax did a 1040 for my taxes and I don't understand how to read it. I don't see where how much I'm getting back or if I'm getting the $1,200 regardless. It says my adjusted gross income is $1. I don't owe the IRS anything. But when I go to check my payment status and I put my social and that I'm single and how much I'm expecting to get in my refund it tells me that I entered something incorrectly about my refund. But how I'm taking it, it makes me feellike I'm getting $1.00 back. I don't understand. If everyone is suppose to get 1200 back even if they dnt work right now. Does that me out off the 80% of people that are getting the stimulus check. I guess I'm not part of that 80%. :(
