Why was I charged twice as the filing fee?

I was charged $39.00 twice to file with TurboTax

TurboTax Deluxe Online is $34 Federal + $39 state. If you elected to pay the fees out of your refund, that's an additional $39 "Refund Processing Fee" for the third-party service needed to offer that option. If it's $78 total and you paid by credit or debit card, the additional $5 is probably state sales tax (depending on where you live).
