I have a Single Member LLC (SMLLC) and have been using TurboTax for years. This year, when I went to e-file my taxes with California, TurboTax would not let me e-file to California and blamed it on the state of Califonia.
However, when I look at the state's list of approved tax software for e-filing, I do not see TurboTax listed. Why is that? Does this mean we could e-file using these other software programs? If so, why not TurboTax?
Here is the link to California's approved e-filing software: https://www.ftb.ca.gov/tax-pros/efile/approved-efile-software.html
