Why is it taking so long to make the K-1 1065 2023 form to be available? My software says "available soon." It's already mid February 2024. What is the delay?

I did my taxes yesterday using TaxSlayer. They don’t charge you extra because you have a K-1 and it  only cost me $19.95. After last year’s fiasco and now this year, I have only two words left for TurboTax and Intuit… BYE FELICIA!

Can someone please clarify this! I found it odd I could never fine news articles or anything on a delay, so maybe this is just a TurboTax thing and all of us should be switching elsewhere to be able to file. However, I vaguely believe I heard this has something to do with Congress (who's on vacation!) making changes to the tax law and foolishly plans to make the new changes retrospective for 2023. This literally means we might not be able to file even until March 31st, but certainly it can be several more weeks if this is what's happening.

Seriously!?!? So they just changed the date from the 14th to the 21st?  So that basically means that when they 21st comes around it could just change again? I have everything done and I'm stuck waiting for this final form because TurboTax lied. I'm done with TT. This is costing me money every single day I can't file my return. Ridiculous.

It's definitely a TurboTax issue.  I was able to file with my K-1 on TaxSlayer last night.

tired of waiting.  May need to ditch Intuit all together after 30 years of using turbotax.  Intuit has been letting me down now too many times.

Just received this email from TT - I had signed up to find out when I could enter K-1. Updated TT and STILL SAYS AVAILABLE SOON!  They are killing me with their incompetence.

Yep! Just got the same email! I login and have the same dead end saying I can't finish because K1s still aren't available. I love how the more money a corporation makes and the more it costs, the WORSE the product becomes. Every single time. I'm sure the executives on the golf course next to their 3rd vacation home really care that we're all pulling our hair out to complete our taxes. /s

This is my last year with TurboTax. I know it won't make a difference, but it'll make me feel better.

It is very frustrating. My opinion is once tax season opens all forms should be ready and available from whomever you are using to do your taxes.  If they aren't available then tax season should not be open!!! This is very irritating.

I purchased the Business and Home & Business CDs, filed my LLC form1065 Partnership Tax Return accepted by the IRS on January 23rd. I just spent an hour with your phone support talking to a representative who obviously knows next to nothing about taxes orTurboTax. I simply want an answer as to why TurboTax is the ONLY tax software not able to provide k-1/1065 input until February 21. It is absolutely NOT and IRS issue, it is a TurboTax issue and I would like an answer.

Cmon TurboTax.  This is your core business and this delay is materially affecting my mine.  If this nonsense continues, I'll be taking my destop and online QB's, TurboTax, Live Accounting, and Mailchimp (for three businesses and a personal return) elsewhere and never coming back.  Ridiculous.
