Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

That's good news for all QBI-Deductioners. Though I am surprised this thread has gone on for TEN (10 !) whole pages........

Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

Just for fun (because I already filed with freetaxusa.com) 2/28/2020 1:00pm.

They typically release updates later in the afternoon or early evening.

Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

Still getting the same as well!

Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

The issue is that there a many threads on the same subject and Intuit has not posted on any of them. The fix for QBI 8995 was released on Tuesday. The errors above seem different.

Good thing I waited until early evening to check (8:45pm 2/28/20)!

8995 is available.  Your software might be out of date and if not updating automatically you need to manually update.

Like others, it will not update manually either. Says TT 2019 not installed when it clearly is. In every compatible mode as well.

Still the same here 6:40am 2/29/20. Auto update says up to date, manual says not installed

@jimhanus Form 8995 is working in premier. Why dong you uninstall and reinstall. To be clear, if you are using 8995 – a then you will not see a working product for probably another two weeks.

Also your pictures are very unclear, what exactly is the issue? Is it that QBI isn’t being calculated or is it that the return check is failing, or is it that you can’t file because of some other Error?

Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

Can't file because TTH&B says I need updated form 8895A and updated Schedule C. Automatic update says I'm up to date, manual update says I don't have 2019 installed. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Others havr shown the exact same problem.

The picture does not show form 8995A as being required for your return. However there might be an issue with schedule C that’s preventing you. I can’t explain why you continue to see that error message. Keep in mind that if your return actually needs form 8995A that form is not available yet from into it and you will not be able to file until it is.

Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

Additionally, the form that was preventing many of us from submitting was the K-1 not the schedule C. Therefore the H&B product may still need an additional fix from Intuit. We all had to fight quite hard to get Intuit to admit and fix the product for form K1/8995 even after their insistence that the product was working correctly. Looks to me like the same fix needs to be made for schedule C.

Why is form 8995A still unavailable?

I am getting form 8995a among my forms to file. But farm 8995a is still blank/unfilled. May be it does not need to be filled out and I do not need that form. But then why is it included in the return for filing?
