Have you checked the status of your second stimulus payment on the IRS Get My Payment tool?
If you didn't receive your stimulus payment you may be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return. Please see the article What is a Recovery Rebate Tax Credit? for more information.
There’s a get my payment tool? ... of course we check multiple times a day and we get the same message! We also qualify for the stimulus and don’t owe the irs anything so the only reason we didn’t get it is because we used turbo tax. Why do u have to wait to file my taxes to get immediate relief? Why didn’t turbo tax help us get our money? Save your nonchalant wait to file your tax crap we didn’t do anything wrong besides using your software
The IRS recently began issuing a second round of stimulus payments to those eligible. Unfortunately, because of an IRS error, millions of payments were sent to the wrong accounts and some may not have received their stimulus payment. For more information, see this TurboTax Help.
If your second stimulus payment was delivered to a card that you no longer have, you may be able to get a replacement card. See this.
If you were entitled to a stimulus payment but did not receive one, and you didn’t pay for TurboTax with your refund last year, you may need to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return to get your money.
