Same thing with me. Turbo tax representative has no idea but my return seems to be in limbo as well and she said she has had many calls of the same situation for other people...Did yours ever get accepted?
Not yet, as of 3:30 mountain time on Friday
The representative I talked to told me to file with a different company because the IRS will just take the first one they receive...after reading this I think that's what I'm going to try...I'll let you know how it goes
I wondered about that...
So what are our options if this go without answer? Can we ask for refund and use different company?

I filed 1/24 and my return is still pending, not accepted nor rejected. No one from TurboTax can tell me what’s going on other than it’s sitting with a note that reads “Will forward return to tax agency at the appropriate time”. I’ve talked to several reps and supervisors, no one knows anything. I’ve even reached out to the IRS and they state that they haven’t receive anything from TT. Definitely a TT issue and they have no resolution at the moment. I’ve been filing with Turbo for years and have never ran into this problem. I’ve been made promises for three days now and I’m still pending. Received a call from a manager at 6:30am this morning to basically tell me she doesn’t know what’s going on. Haven’t received any follow up or anything. Just a “be patient, it’s in transmission”, which is a lie!

If i dont get it next 5-6 days i will ask refund and go to HR block.
It is not issue for me to wait, no problem, but if they are telling me IRS received it and IRS saying no then someone is lying to me.
IRS website shows no tax record for 2024 yet
The only thing that stinks for me is hr block charges 200 in order to get the refund advance which I'm trying to get but the way it sounds this turbo tax issue may take awhile so I have a appointment with hr block tomorrow morning
Honestly, I’m thinking about also filing with H&R Block come next week. A supervisor told me “I probably shouldn’t be telling you this, but if I were you, I’d go elsewhere because it hasn’t been sent and I’m unsure when it will”. So more than likely, that’s what I’m going to do.
We share the same sentiments. I filed on 1/24 and I’m still pending. TT is blaming the IRS and the IRS hasn’t received anything. A manger called me this morning a 6:30am (after I demanded a call back yesterday) and she confirmed what I already knew. She says, verbatim “I’m sorry but your return wasn’t sent to the IRS, and I don’t know why”. She then proceeded to say, she’s going to reach out to IT, an investigation ticket was submitted and I should be hearing back. This is insane, never again will I go through TT. This by far is the worse!
I was told this exact same thing and I’m going to take their advice and file with someone else. I’ll update you soon!

That’s crazy. I just filed mine with H&R Block. I’ll keep you guys updated
