I do not believe the Form 1099-LTC has ever been available for import, it has to be entered manually.
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Wages & Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Less Common Income
On Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C, click the start or update button
On the next screen - On Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC), click the start or update button
Outstanding!! Thank you!
Best answer. Thanks.
I don't see any screen that says "Any Long-Term Care Contract?" after going through the process below.

Did you use this procedure to access the section for entering a Form 1099-LTC
For the online editions -
Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen
Click on Wages and Income
Scroll down to Less Common Income
On Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C, click the start or revisit button
On Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC), click the start button
The next screen is labeled - Any Long-Term Care Contracts?
For the desktop CD/Download editions -
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Wages & Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)
Scroll down to Less Common Income
On Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C, click the start or update button
On Long-term care account distributions (Form 1099-LTC), click the start button
The next screen is labeled - Any Long-Term Care Contracts?
I searched 1099ltc and used the Jump To link. It took me to Prescription Medication.

I think this bay help to post the 1099-LTC
As an alternative to jump to, you can go to the main menu.
I bought Turbo Tax Home and Business 2023 and did not find any place where to put the 1099-ltc.
You'll receive Form 1099-LTC if you get money from long-term insurance or life insurance under an accelerated death benefits clause.
Here's how to enter your 1099-LTC into TurboTax:

Try the Personal tab (Personal income) and click Start or Update to the right of Miscellaneous Income.
