Why am I receiving an error message when I try to e-file my NC return?

Thank you for the link, however, that error message is coming up even when I exclude state from e-file.  Is this an issue with all filings?  I don't see any definitive answers and don't try to get anyone on the phone because that is impossible.

@frustrated34 Try this:  When selecting the filing method for your state return, change it to "File by Mail".   Then see if you can go ahead and e-file your federal return.  Once your federal return has been accepted, you should be able to go back to your program and change NC filing method back to E-file.
