On Form 1041, the only income is 1099-DIV with $2,172.02 in Ordinary Dividends with $2,172.02 in Qualified Dividends. How do I complete form 1041 with this information? I'm filing for 1041 for a Trust. The only income for the year is from 1099-DIV with the amount I listed above.
Please help.

In the event you are not using TurboTax Business, then ordinary dividends are entered on Line 2a of Form 1041 and qualified dividends are entered on Line 2b of Form 1041.
The beneficiary's allocable share of qualified dividends would be entered on line 2b(1); the trust's allocable share would be entered on line 2b(2).
In order to file a 1041 you need TurboTax Business software.
You enter a 1099-Div under the Federal Taxes tab.
Then select Income, then Interest and Dividends.

Where to enter qualified dividends on 1041 TT Business? Only option is to enter Ordinary Dividends.
Thanks
