when will turbotax 2025 updates be posted

I am severely disappointed in TT2025. Here it is 01/20/26 and is still not fully functional. This may the last time I use it. Waste of money

When will updates be released to download for 2025 Turbotax? Have all information I can input without the update. Would like to complete my taxes.

Updates are released pretty constantly.  What forms are you waiting on?

@Wilsontjoe depends what forms you need.  there was a s/w update this morning with a number of forms expected this week including 8606.  See this tool for availability for others but be aware for TT Desktop the s/w updates tend to be available on Thursday mornings even if the tool says the form is available some day(s) before that you may have to wait.  TT Online releases form updates more quickly they don't have to wait for a weekly release.

Here is a link to TurboTax forms availability. Often TurboTax needs to wait until the taxing authorities finalize rules and procedures to finalize schedules and forms in the program.
