Form 8915-F, Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Retirements is schedules to be available in TurboTax on 03/24/2022
They offered me a product refund which still allows you to file. I have done it and waiting for request to process but if that form still isn’t read on 24th I’m taking it and doing my taxes somewhere else because every other platform has the **bleep** form but turbo tax. Money back guarantee people look it up.
There’s no excuse for it
Happy 8915 F eve lol
Anyone have any luck getting a refund from TT? This is a ridiculous delay for those of us expecting a tax refund otherwise...
Why does TurboTax keep calling it “Form 8915-F, Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and RETIREMENTS”??? They even call it that on the forms availability page. The correct name of the form is “Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and REPAYMENTS.” The last word is not “retirements.” This is direct from the 8915-F form right on the IRS website. If TurboTax can’t even get the name of the form correct, do we think that it will do the calculations correctly or even be ready on time?
@TrilogyPins What if that was the delay all this time??
I been waiting for over a month just for this 8915 to be released. I hope it drops tomorrow and isn't pushed back.
This better still be dropping tomorrow! Have something due on the 25th and this delay is totally hurting me.
At this time, form 8915-F is still slated to be finalized tomorrow 3/24/22.
i just hopped
on and there are more questions…. maybe 90% there…
Here's [to] hoping-- I just corrected the English language by adding "to", thank me later--- that tomorrow we get the final 8915F form and that there is a question that reads: I've noticed you entered a tax payment amount as part of your 2020 Tax Year1099 R Distribution form, for what year was the payment amount? And the user enters 2020 and the software automatically excludes it from the 2021 tax year thus keeping the data entry portion simple and not forcing the user to enter a different number from the 1099R form.
I was able to finish mine a minute ago. Hopefully it goes through. Watched a whole lot of money get drained out from the refund status so I assume it's correct. Good luck to everyone!
H & R Block tax software DOES NOT have 8915-F yet. Has a note saying to visit an office. Crazy since it had the original forms last year.
