Just filed and everything went through. W2 employee as well as 1040/Schedule C for my company, Fed and state.
Just efiled my MD return and it wen through but first I had to delete my cookies and tracking history so that Turbo Tax could update my TT software.
Finally TT had fixed the issue on the update release today 3/3/2022.
Cleared my cookies and updated TT AND TT FILED MARYLAND TAXS WITH NO 8582 ISSUE!!!
Just filed my Fed & State of VA - March 3 - finally worked. Thank you!!!!

It did just work for me. Personal return with passive losses (form 8582) for non-resident Maryland income. I use the disk-based (non-Internet) version. It loaded an update this morning, and I could file right away.
Finally, TT Fixed the problem of the form 8582
form 8582 is FIXED
Yes, it is fixed, and I was able to file my VA state return. It did cost me an additional $5. It is not a lot of money, but I was ready to file in Feb, which would have saved me $5 dollars. It would have been nice for TT to extend the $20 filing for a couple more days.
@TeresaM - I was able to file my VA return after the 3/3 update. Because I did not file before the end of Feb it cost an extra $5. It would have been nice for TT to extend the discount period since it was TT's fault I could not file.
So are we getting a free copy of TT next year? If not I'm trying TaxAct.
I separated my returns and filed my Federal return three weeks ago. I printed and mailed my MD state return two weeks ago, but MD Tax Revenue office didn't receive it. I contacted the revenue office and they told me it could take 4-8 weeks to process a mail in return. However, the revenue office did suggest that I file an electronic version of my MD -502 form directly through the MD Tax Revenue office [iFile - Maryland State Tax]. This process takes only five days to complete.
