When will 2025 tax software be released

Desktop versions have already been released. Online should be released within the next few weeks.

and check this tool to check form availability also.  desktop s/w is available but Schedule D (1099-B) won't be ready until Jan 8th according to this.  So depending on your situation it may not be fully usable yet anyway.
