@LinaJ2020 Here is the one line of code you need to fix your product:
function percentage(num, per) { return (num/100)*per; }
I can give you the same function in 32 different programming languages if needed. This shouldn't take a week to fix!
form 8936 is fixed and working
Lets hope irs accept.
Nope - form is still broken. At least the IRS rejected my return within hours instead of days.
Guess I'm waiting for (yet) another update....
My return got rejected this morning for the second time. This is ridiculous because I bought a Nissan which should get the full credit.
Me too, 2nd rejection.
I would wait until tomorrow since the projected fix date is 2/21. Better yet 2/22 and see if we get an official update from that issue page that it's been fixed.
Looks like, the IRS started accepting TT 8936 returns. From what I reed in other posts.
I'm waiting until late tomorrow before I try again. When they pushed out the update this morning, I assumed that the form 8936 fix was included. (As an aside, I can't figure out what updates they are pushing out - the link that they give you on Windows to see more details about an update takes you to a page that tells you that the Intuit support page has moved. When you go to that page, it is just the main support page - no way to look up what "today's" update is.
After 2 rejections, I'll wait awhile longer before trying again. Given the overall quality, they're making it REALLY hard to consider using TurboTax again next year...
The fix for Form 8936 was included in today's release. As insurance, delete Form 8936 and reenter it. It should go through then.
It looks like it filled out my 8936 form correctly, so hopefully it gets accepted by the IRS. Will update with results.
My federal & state returns just got accepted with the update. My form was filled out correctly! Thank you TT for getting this fixed.

I filed my return on 2/12 when form 8936 came out and it was accepted immediately. I did not get any errors or rejection like others have stated. I received my state refund already but I have still not received my federal refund, it just says it is processing. is this due to the 8936 form that's its taking a while now?? Normally I would have received by now I would have thought. I have not heard anything back from the IRS stating there is anything wrong so do I just wait it out at this point?
