Form 1099-INT reports the interest tht you have made for the year. Form 1099-DIV reports dividends you've made. They report income from investments.
A 1099-INT form is completed by your financial institution when you receive more than $10 in interest from an entity that paid you interest. A 1099-DIV form is completed if you are paid dividends on stocks that you own or if a mutual fund that you invest in made a capital gains distribution to you during the year.
