What do I enter for "Dependent - Virginia AGI" for my state taxes?

I see my child's name with a blank box next to it. What am I supposed to type there?

It depends. If this is your child's return then you would enter their AGI from last year, if they did not file last year it would be zero.

If this is your return, then you would enter your AGI from last year.  Both can be found on last year's tax return, on Form 760, line 9.
