I work 2 part time jobs with very minimal hours for both. The first job pays $17 per hour and I have only been working 8 hours every week for this job. The second job I have not officialy started working but it pays $16.40 per hour and I work a maximum of 17 hours per week. How many allowances am I supposed to claim on my W4? Also, under step 2 on the W4, do I select option b: "Use the Multiple Jobs Worksheet on page 3 and enter the result in Step 4(c) below", or option c: "If there are only two jobs total, you may check this box. Do the same on Form W-4 for the other job. This option is generally more accurate than (b) if pay at the lower paying job is more than half of the pay at the higher paying job. Otherwise, (b) is more accurate"?

The new W-4 form has not used allowances since 2020.
Use the Tax Withholding Estimator on the IRS web site to figure out what to put on your W-4 forms. It will show you how to adjust your withholding to get the approximate refund amount that you want.
You have to give a separate W-4 to each employer. The Tax Withholding Estimator will show you what to put on each one.
You could also try the TurboTax W-4 Calculator.
Thank you! I had only asked about allowances because it was on my w4 for both my part time jobs, for the first one I put 3 allowances because I was confused but for my second job my employer explained I can put 0 so I'm going to ask my first job if I can edit my W4. Thank you for the links you sent I will definitely utilize them!
