I'm experiencing a loop in Windows 10 version of the 2021 desktop TurboTax after: fed taxes -- wages & income -- investment income (looping here). Windows version is KB4023057.

Every computer has a unique combination of components, settings, programs, services, and users. This means TurboTax can install and run flawlessly on one computer, but another computer's configuration can cause conflicts when installing, launching, or running TurboTax.

Since you're talking to the computer engineer I call BS. Nothing in your link resolves their poorly written code on my laptop. However, you can work around it by going back to the interview steps. It does beg the question if they can't get this right will my taxes be calculated correctly and filed correctly.
