Using desktop Premier version - transfer 2018 data to 2019

I have used a windows desktop version of turbo for years.  Why does my rental property information and other prior year data not transfer in to the 2019 return?

was the very first step you did in starting 2019 was to transfer return data from 2018?  it must be done as the first step.  it can not be done later.

Yes, I did that and my name and address and other personal information came in but not my Schedule E prior year information nor any of my prior year names for interest, etc.
