Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Use the same account or start a new account

I always use turbotax to do my son's taxes, but last year since he was out of the area, he used a tax accountant. He wants me to do his taxes for this year (2019), do I import his information from 2017 or start over new with his account. He has married and there are changes to the basic information to input. Thank you.

Use the same account or start a new account

You can not import your son's 2017 TurboTax tax information into the 2019 Turbotax program.  Your only option is to create a new TurboTax account for your son.

Since your son is married and did not file with TurboTax in 2018, it might be easier to start a new account for him this year.
