Re: Unemployment exemption

I filed my Federal taxes before the exemption of the first $10,200 unemployment. Do I need to amend my taxes to have this corrected? When will the software be up to date for 2020 amendments?

Today the IRS announced that they would amend returns which have been filed and require the unemployment deduction. Refunds should start in May for single taxpayers and joint tax payers after that.
