Sometimes the computer is caught in a loop.  Let's clear your cookies and history.

Cookies are small files that temporarily store data on your computer. We use them to personalize your experience so you see information you already entered and not items that are irrelevant or repetitive.

On rare occasions, they may make your browser think you already did something that you still need to do. To fix that, you'll need to delete (clear) the cookies from your browser.

Each browser has a slightly different method for deleting cookies. Choose the browser you're using:

Unable to edit error check information worksheet

The error is under my state Iowa Filling status.  I have a dependent listed under my "head of household" and it should be black.  Turbo Tax deluxe is not letting be delete the name.  No way to edit and remove the name.

Yes, you can edit the dependent but it has to be done in the Federal section.

To edit the dependent:

Go back into the My Info section

Personal Information Summary - make dependent correction here.

Consider whether changing the dependent on the Federal will incorrectly affect the Federal also.  If so, you will need to submit the Federal first then wait until it is accepted by the IRS,  come back to correct the state then file the state.
