TurboTax2022 on Apple M1 chip

I was able to run TurboTax 2022 earlier this year 2023 to import 2021 tax returns and do some estimates. Later when I updated TurboTax for several times, and it won't open or crashed. Now I just open TurboTax and start new tax return, after it open the window to begin, it just crashes after few seconds. The chip is Apple M1 and the OS is still Mac OS Monterey 12.6.3.

Does anyone encounter the similar issue or how can I fix this issue?

If you are using the Download/Desktop version, you will need to make sure you have updated your software.  For assistance with manually updating a Mac, please see this Help Article.

Thanks for the reply but this issues had been there for many months and I was waiting for the fixes of updates. Unfortunately, the updated TurboTax2022 always crashes when it opens my previously saved 2022 tax file.

I also re-copied the TurboTax to another folder or replace the one in my Applications folder, and let it update to the latest version, but anyway none is successful.

Finally, I figured out the root cause. I removed the folder in "~/Library/Application Support/TurboTax 2022/Forms", and let TurboTax re-creates and download state data. Eventually it works and can open my saved 2022 tax file.
