When I tried to transmit 2024 Connecticut Partnership returns using desktop TurboTax Business, I got the following message: "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available. TurboTax Business is not ready to process Tax Year 2024 for this return".
Does anyone know what this means? When would the transmission become available?
Thanks for your help.

According to the Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business, all forms for Connecticut Partnership returns are available to e-file. Restart the program and allow all updates to finish. Then open your return, run your state review, then try e-filing again.
I just received this same message regarding my S-Corp filing. I've exited the Turbo Tax app and re-entered as suggested but continue to receive the message "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available. Turbo Tax Business is not ready to process Tax Year 2024 for this return." Do you have any other suggestions for solving this issue?
Sincerely,
Sally C
Like the other posters - I too am getting this same message when "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available. Turbo Tax Business is not ready to process Tax Year 2024 for this return." Do you have any other suggestions for solving this issue? The FEDERAL filed fine, the CT filing is getting this error. Please help.
Anyone get an answer for this yet. Running out of time. I too, get the CT E-File transmission error (Federal went fine). Updated everything, nothing changes.
Same here. I called up TurboTax and was told the form will not be ready until March 21 — which is after the deadline. She suggested I file an extension. I'd prefer not to do that.
March 10 - I am getting the same result for a CT LLC. I'll try rebooting and then again tomorrow and if it fails I guess I'll go the extension route. My understanding is that if you file the Federal return electronically (which I did) then you need to also e-file the state return.
I just tried to get an answer from support and was hung up on twice. Once by the automated attendant and the other by a live agent.
Went on Myconnect to file an extension and seeing that Due Date is April 15, 2025.
I believe that the form might not be due until April 15. This taxpayer alert says: "Given the delay by the Department of Revenue Services (“DRS”) in making these forms available to software companies, DRS will agree to forgo otherwise applicable penalty and interest provided taxpayers file the applicable return(s) and pay the associated liabilities in full by April 15, 2025."
my Connect also shows my filing is due by April 15 (rather than March 15).

Thank you chrisb58. It relieves some of the pressure knowing the DRS recognizes the issue. I thought it was more of a technical issue on the TTax side. Again, thanks.
Do we need to file the extension or given that the delay is caused by the State, we file for federal purposes and then will file later for State purposes?
In CT, you have to file the extension in order to be exempt from any penalties for late filing (even though it's their fault). Federal still needs to be filed on time (or file for an extension there too).
According to the linked document CT will agree to forego interest and penalties if filed by 4/15.
Thank you very much for the info - it looks like I need to file an extension at least for federal as turbotax business does not allow me to file for federal by itself either. I am not sure if it is an issue with my turbotax business but hopefully not.
