Turbo Tac says my federal tax return is BOTH accepted AND rejected. I have not received a federal return. What do I need to do to correct, finish, file my federal return?

Home page of Turbo Tax reads my Federal tax return has been transmitted, accepted, and should have been deposited 10 days ago. I received an email today reading my federal return was not accepted. How do I fix this or know if it even needs fixed?

See if there is a date and time stamp on both messages to see which is more recent.

Also, open the software and see what status it gives the return, it will give you a "most recent" status of the federal return.  That should agree with what you saw on the TurboTax Home Page.

Now, with the passage of the American Rescue Plan, IRS is now in the process of determining eligibility for a Third Stimulus Check to be distributed in 2021 based on information on your 2019 and 2020 income tax returns.

The 2021 (Third) Stimulus check will be automatically calculated by IRS and either distributed to those who qualify or not distributed to those who do not.
