Thanks for your input Linda John. I am continuing to be frustrated in attempting to estimate taxes for 2021 and can't figure out where this line is generated on the 2020 column. I hope we can get some guidance by April 15th. Have a nice weekend, Greg
One other thought Amy. The cell that I am trying to figure out on Form ES & W4 Wks is under the 2020 Actual Column for the line labeled "Total of your other taxable income and losses". All the figures in this column make sense expect this line. The figure is generated by the TurboTax program automatically. When I scan through all my packet forms, I can't find that actual figure anywhere in my documents. Just one more thought.......
I was also trying to figure out where this amount came from so I can figure out 2021 estimated taxes. If it helps, for me, the amount on the "Total of your other taxable income and losses" 2020 column was the total amount of unemployment compensation my husband and I received in 2020 minus the $20,400 unemployment compensation exclusion ($10,200 x 2).
